It was a full house in the dining room of the Coolum Beach Bowls Club on Tuesday for their annual Melbourne Cup Luncheon. The Crackerjacks kitchen staff provided a two-course meal and the ‘Bowlo’ bar staff kept everyone happy with their drinks. The $35 cost per person also included live music from Coolum muso extraordinaire – ‘Janice’ as well as competitions and all of the racing action beamed in live from Flemington. Many in the room were familiar faces who make the very friendly atmosphere at the ‘Bowlo’ their annual cup day luncheon.
