It was a day that was all about fun and hanging out with local surfing hero Julian Wilson who hosted his ‘Serious Fun Day’ on Tuesday, January 16 at Coolum Beach and in Tickle Park. The day had a surfing competition and activation zone which featured supporting partners Rivvia Projects, Sun Bum sunscreen, and Oakley, and there was also an area where ‘groms’ could have their surfboard spray painted and try out the skate ramp. The conditions cleaned up on the day with consistent 2-3 ft waves and had a great turnout of spectators and competitors despite the on-and-off showers.
