Coolum Lions donated funds to a group of dedicated volunteers who are working to introduce a parkrun at Coolum.  Parkrun organises 5 km events for runners, walkers and volunteers. The events take place every Saturday morning at more than 2,000 locations in 23 countries, and there are 518 parkrun locations in Australia. We are happy to support this great initiative.  

If you are interested in participating in a local parkrun, Google “parkrun near me”.  The nearest one is at Mudjimba, Corner of Mudjimba Beach Esplanade and Mudjimba Beach Road, starting at 7 am.
